Webflow sites are carefully designed, and a generic chat bubble can look out of place. Selo Assist's widget takes your brand colour and logo, and runs in its own frame so it never interferes with your layout or interactions.
How to set it up
- 1
Create your assistant
Sign up and enter your site's address so the assistant can read your pages.
- 2
Allow your domain
Add your published domain under Allowed websites on the Widget page. Add your webflow.io staging address as well if you want to test there.
- 3
Copy the embed code
Copy the one-line script tag from the Widget page.
<script src="https://chat.siteselo.com/widget.js" data-workspace="pk_..." async></script> - 4
Paste it into the footer code
In Webflow open Site settings > Custom code and paste the script into the Footer code box, which places it before the closing body tag. Custom code is available on paid Webflow plans.
- 5
Publish and check
Publish the site and open it in a private window.
Why it works
Your design stays intact
The chat lives in an isolated frame. Your CSS cannot change it and it cannot change your page.
Styled to your brand
Choose the colour, logo, position and greeting in your account and see them in a live preview.
Answers in the visitor's language
It replies in the language the visitor writes in, including right-to-left languages.
