WordPress powers everything from one-page business sites to large shops, and visitors on all of them ask the same things: prices, opening hours, how to book. Selo Assist reads your site and answers those questions for you, day and night.
Because the widget is a single script tag, it works with every theme and page builder, including Elementor, Divi and the block editor.
How to set it up
- 1
Create your assistant
Sign up, enter your website address and let the assistant read your pages. Add price lists, FAQs or notes for anything that is not on the site.
- 2
Allow your domain
On the Widget page, add your website's domain under Allowed websites. The widget only loads on the sites you list there.
- 3
Copy the embed code
On the same page, copy the one-line script tag.
<script src="https://chat.siteselo.com/widget.js" data-workspace="pk_..." async></script> - 4
Paste it into WordPress
The simplest way is a header-and-footer code plugin such as WPCode: add a new snippet, paste the code and choose the site-wide footer. You can also paste it before the closing body tag in your theme's footer.php through Appearance > Theme File Editor.
- 5
Check it
Open your site in a private window. The chat button appears in the corner. Ask it a question a customer would ask.
Why it works
Nothing to update
There is no plugin to keep compatible with each WordPress release. The script loads the latest widget by itself.
Light on your pages
The loader is under one kilobyte and the chat runs in its own frame, so it does not slow your theme or clash with its styles.
Answers from your content
It replies only from what you gave it and offers a person when it does not know.
